Auchnascraw Mill is nestled in the beautiful heather-clad Ladder Hills of the Braes of Glenlivet within the Cairngorms National Park in Scotland. Our stone mill was originally built in the 1830s as a working mill, grinding oats for the local farming community until the mid-1940s. Many original features of this mill have been integrated into what is now a modern, light-filled and characterful living space.
The spacious and open living/dining room features ever-changing panoramic views of the fields, farmland and hills. Everyone will appreciate the original Caithness flagstone floors, now modernized with cosy underfloor heating. Venture out to enjoy the great outdoors or light the woodstove, stay in and just relax. We have a high percentage of return guests- read our reviews to get a sense of why people love Auchnascraw Mill . . . for its comfort, functionality and down-to-earth style.
